A ‘Winnie The Pooh’ LEGO Set Is Coming and I’m So Excited

Categories KidsPosted on

Fans of the Hundred Acre Wood have reason to celebrate–Winnie the Pooh and Friends are coming to LEGO soon and the new set is super cute!

Lego has frequently partnered with Disney on other character-based sets, including Mickey and Minnie Mouse, a line of Disney Princess additions, including Frozen and Cinderella, and Marvel movie tie-ins.  Now, Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, Eeyore, Rabbit, and Owl are joining the fun.

The Winnie the Pooh set was designed as part of the Lego ideas fan platform.  Lego fans can submit ideas for sets they would like to see built and Lego chooses a few to add to the collection.  TV shows like Friends and the Big Bang Theory have become Lego sets, thanks to this platform, as have concepts like a lab featuring all female scientists.

The Winnie the Pooh set features a combination of minifigures for some characters and buildable characters for others.  It also includes the iconic Hundred Acre Wood treehouse, complete with the “Mr. Sanders” sign and little bee hives for Pooh’s honey.

The reverse side of the treehouse has even more fun details, including Pooh’s house.  Tiny flowers decorate the outside and the removable roof can be lifted to explore Pooh’s room, including his bed, cupboards, and honey pots.  All the details are there.

Lego hasn’t yet announced when the Winnie the Pooh set will be for sale or the current pricing, but we will be first in line to get ours!
