If your kid loves hot, salty, buttery popcorn as much as mine does then you’re both going to LOVE this Valentine’s popcorn! Because what’s better than regular popcorn? Festive popcorn with candy, of course!
We all enjoy sharing a big bowl of popcorn with our loved ones. So check out this sweet snack to make with your sweethearts for Valentine’s Day.
Here’s what you need to make Valentines Popcorn: (this post includes affiliate links)
In a sauce pan heat the oil over medium heat. Add a couple popcorn kernels and cover.
Once the kernels begin to pop add the remaining kernels to the pan and give it a good shake.
Keep popcorn on the stove top until popping slows down to 2-3 seconds between pops. Remove from heat and add to a large mixing bowl.
In a double boiler melt the chocolate, constantly stirring until it reaches a smooth consistency. Once fully melted drizzle over the popcorn.
Allow chocolate to harden. Add in M&M’s and sprinkles.
This Valentines Popcorn also makes a nice mason jar gift to ‘share the love’ with teachers and other service workers.
More Valentine’s Day Fun!
